More Decor is seeking an Entry Level Home Staging Assistant who is passionate about learning the Design and Real-estate Staging Industry, loves people, and has a can-do attitude!

Job Description:

*Conduct entry level staging and design installations; making all of the beds, installing all of the bathroom linens, hanging art, and assisting with picking out and arranging furniture and decor

*Prepare furniture and decor for staging and design installations, pack and unpack furniture and decor, load and unload furniture and boxes in and out of trucks

*Keep the furniture and decor warehouse clean and organized; as well as organizing tools and supplies

*Track and manage some of the staging inventory within the asset management software

* Load and unload moving trucks, move and carry furniture and boxes into houses and commercial spaces; must be able to lift up to 40lbs on own and 150lbs with a partner

*Drive to various job sites through-out King, Pierce, Thurston, and Kitsap Counties


Job Requirements:

*Experience in retail, customer service, or creative fields preferred


*A passion and interest in the interior design industry required; design experience not required


*This job is very physical requiring constant heavy lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, and standing, so must be able to perform this type of work.


*Attention to detail and organizational skills a must; with the affinity for being meticulous

*Reliable, personal transportation required for all times of the day and any day of the week; will need to drive to and from various locations throughout the Puget Sound region; Proof of auto insurance required.

*Personal cell phone required to make and accept business related calls, texts, and e-mails

*Proven “do-it-yourself” home improvement skills; i.e. understand how to use tools, hang items on a wall, utilize a tape measure, etc.

*Must be able to lift at last least 40 lbs individually and up to 150 lbs with a team member; will be lifting furniture, hanging items on a wall, installing hardware, and climbing ladders.


Hours / Days / Schedule:

*The position is qualified as part-time, with a potential for overtime hours during large projects or peak season; schedule can be determined at time of interview.

*An average week is Monday through Saturday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., however must be open to working earlier and later hours during peak season or large projects.

Salary / Wage / Benefits:
$13.50 to $14.50 / hr DOE plus mileage reimbursement for travel to and from job sites
